The holidays are the biggest time of the year when it comes to engagements – I know more than five couples that got engaged on Christmas Day alone, another three on NYE – So I figured I’d try to predict which celebrity couples will tie the knot this year (This list isn’t going to include the obvious (aka Kimye)). Here we go:

5. Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson

5 Celebrity Wedding Predictions For 2014

Why? The couple has been engaged since 2010. The only reason they haven’t actually taken the leap into marriage yet is because Jessica kept getting knocked up. Two kids and a whole lotta weight loss later, I think this will be their year. Either that or she’ll get knocked up again and they’ll have to wait til next year.

4. Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka

5 Celebrity Wedding Predictions For 2014

Why? They also have two kids together (The cutest twins ever – Botn via surrogacy) and have been engaged since 2006. They had to wait for same-sex marriage to become legal before they could make it official, and now they’re just waiting for an available date. I bet that date will come sometime this year.

3. Naya Rivera & Big Sean

5 Celebrity Wedding Predictions For 2014

Why? They got engaged in October of last year, and a week later the girl was spotted trying on wedding dresses – She clearly isn’t wasting any time! Glee isn’t nearly as big a deal as it used to be, and I think she misses the attention. Mark my words, this wedding is going to be huge.

2.Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi & Jionni LaValle

5 Celebrity Wedding Predictions For 2014

Why? Another couple that had to put their nuptials on hold because of an unexpected baby. Now, we all know how much I love the Shore and all its cast members, so this is probably the wedding I’m most excited for. They’ve already been looking at venues, and Snooks has already tried on dresses. Barring another unplanned pregnancy, this wedding is definitely happening this year.

1. Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt

5 Celebrity Wedding Predictions For 2014

Why? Bet you forgot these two were even engaged, didn’t you? Well they’ve been talking marriage since April 2012, but refused to actually go ahead with it until everyone had equal rights (and good for them!). Nine more states legalized same-sex marriage last year, so I think we might be seeing wedding bells for these two sooner than later.

What do you think of this list? Is there anyone you’d add or subtract from it? Let us know what you think in the comments!
